When some charge is placed on a soap bubble

Asked by admin @ in Physics viewed by 283 People

What happens when a soap bubble is charged

Answered by admin @

The bubble will expand because thecharged particles uniformly distributed on it cause them to repel each other due to the electrostatic force. This willhappen to both positive and negativelycharged bubbles because of thecharge on it. Example: If a soap bubbleis given a negative charge, then its radius increases.
