Which of two diagrams correctly represent the labels 'series and parallel' on the plotted curves ? justify your answer. please explain in the simplest way

By ohm's law, V=IR
In first graph slope= V/I=R. so greater the resistance, greater the slope or inclination. We know R in series is greater than in parallel so its inclination will be greater and thus the first graph.
The second case is total opposite.
