If (1 - p) is a root of quadratic equation x2 + px + (1 - p) = 0 then find its roots?

One root=1-p
Let the second root=x
so,Sum of zeroes
one root+second root = -b/a
1-p+x= -p/1
1-p+x= -p
x= -p+p-1
-p and +p get cancelled
x= -1
so,Second root of this quadratic equation -1
