A very good morning to to honorable committee members respected principal mam learnet teachers and all my dear friends today I stand before you to to tell you about the topic election is the best test of democracy. an election in India is a festival where opinion of people regarding a politician is determined. India is a largest democratic country where democracy is celebrated. a democratic country give freedom to its citizen in all spheres of its life whether it be economical linguistic cultural social or educational. Liberty of thoughts freedom of speech are basic tenets of democracy. 1909 only a few people were allowed to elect they included educated men and women the first General Assembly elections held in the year 1951 for 489 seats
