Resistance of a conductor means the obstacles created by the conductor to the flow of current it's SI unit is ohm. The factors on which the resistance of conductor depends are as follows --->(1) length of the conductor.

(2) area of cross section.

(3) temperature and material.

The resistance is affected by the following ---->

(1) If it's length is doubled then resistance will also get doubled.

(2) If it's radius is doubled then current gets halved.
