Specific Resistance is also known as Resitivity.(ρ)

As we already know that :
Resistivity (ρ) = RxA/l
Where R is resistance of conductor
A is area of cross section of conductor
And l is length of conductor.
Resistivity of a substance is numerically equal to resistance of a rod of that substance which is 1 meter long and 1 square meter in cross section.
