Given that,

Resistance R = 2 ohm

Using Kirchhoff's law

In first loop of 20 V,

$1(i_{1}+i_{2})+4i_{1}-20 =0$

$5i_{1}+i_{2}=20$ .....(I)

In second loop of 10 V,

$1(i_{1}+i_{2})+2i_{2}_{1}-10 =0$

$i_{1}+3i_{2}=10$ .....(II)

From equation(I) and (II)

$14i_{2}=30$

$i_{2} = \dfrac{15}{7}$

$i_{2} = 2.1A$

Now, put the value of $i_{2}$ in equation (I)

$5i_{1}=20-\dfrac{15}{7}$

$i_{1} = \dfrac{25}{7}$

Hence, the current through 2 ohm resistor is 2.1 A.
