A simple pendulum is oscillating with an angular amplitude 60°. If mass of bob is 50 gram, tha the tension in the string at mean position is(g s in 10ms)

Answer:

max ke = max Pe = m g h

h = r (1-cos 60) = r/2

so max (1/2) m v^2 = m g r/2

max v^2 = g r

T = m g + m v^2/r

T = m (g + g) = 2 m g = 2(.05)(10)

T = 1 Newton
