On the road you are traveling, the pavement markings change from broken white lines to solid white lines between the lanes of traffic. What does the line change mean?

Answered by admin @

Answer;
The line change means you can not change lanes, you are required to stay within the lane.
Explanation

Different markings (colors and patterns) have different meanings on the roads. For example; White lines painted on the pavement indicate traffic traveling in your direction. Broken White Line means that  you may change lanes if it is safe to do so. Solid White Line; requires you to stay within the lane and also marks the shoulder of the roadway
