★ The Happiest Day Of My Life ★

It was a day in the year of 2016. I was then a student of class 8. I got admitted to that school and had been reading there for a few months only. A new teacher of English joined there that very day. He came to our class. There were 30 to 35 students in our class. He took his seat on his chair. At first he wanted to know whether we had seen the setting sun. All of us gave him an affirmative answer. At once he asked us to write a paragraph on sunset in 10 to 15 lines. When I was in my village, I used to walk to the riverside in the afternoon. The river was not so much at a distance from my house. Standing on the riverbank I would see the setting sun with deep concentration and my heart would be filled with an untasted joy. Remembering that scene of sunset I began to write. In a few minutes I finished my writing. I submitted my writing to our new English teacher. He read the paragraph and the expression of his face changed. He became immensely pleased. He could not even imagine that a student of class 8 could write such a beautiful paragraph. He became almost made in an unbound joy. He called all the teachers in a loud voice and described the matter. All the students and teachers gathered around me and listened to the matter in detail. Everyone became eloquent in my praise. My parents and other members of my family became very much pleased knowing everything. It inspired me a lot for writing various articles. This sweet memory of that day is still bright in my mind. That day was probably the happiest day in my life.
