(b) Human stomach fluid, 1.2
(c) Human blood, 7.38
(d) Human saliva, 6.4.

Answered by admin @

(a) pH of human muscle fluid =6.83
.pH = -log[H+]
6.83 = -log[H+], log[H+] = -6.83
log[H+] = -6.83 = 7(bar).17
[H+] = antilog(7(bar).17) = 1.479 * 10⁻⁷ M

(b) pH of stomach fluid = 1.2
pH = -log[H+]
1.2 = -log[H+], log[H+] = -1.2
log[H+] = -1.2 = 2(bar).80
[H+] = antilog(2(bar).80) = 6.31 × 10⁻²M

(c) pH of human blood = 7.38
pH = -log[H+]
-7.38 = log[H+], log[H+] = 8(bar).62
[H+] = antilog(
8(bar).62) = 4.169× 10⁻⁸M

(d)pH of human saliva = 6.4
pH=-log[H^+]\\\\log[H^+]=-6.4=\overline{7}.60\\\\
[H+] = 3.981 × 10⁻⁷M
