According to the Constitution, the right of freedom of religion supports practicing any religion that one chooses, or none at all.

In the First Amendment to the United States Constitution, freedom of religion restricts the Congress from 1) establishing a national church, and 2) ban the free exercise of religious practices. In the Fourteenth Amendment, discrimination towards any citizen, regardless of his or her religious beliefs, is stated as prohibited.
