to find the absolute pressure at the bottom of the sea we must add the pressure due to the water which is given by the equation ρgh, and add it with the atmospheric pressure

Pw=pressure due the weight of water=ρgh

ρ=density=64.2 lb/ft3=2slug/ft3

g=gravity=32.1 ft/s2
