If you arrange in a proper way , you will get circuit follows WEATSONE BRIDGE as shown in figure.
so, resistor , PQ is removed because it follows R1 × R3 = R2 × R4 .
now, equivalent resistance , Req :
so,
Req = 8 × 8/(8 + 8) = 64/16 = 4 ohm
hence, option (A) is correct.
