Resistance of voltmeter should be high.
Solution:
- A voltmeter is always connected in parallel with a circuit since voltage remains constant in parallel connection.
- However, when voltmeter is connected in parallel, some current of circuit might flow through voltmeter thus changing the current in circuit.
- In order to avoid this, an ideal voltmeter has infinite resistance so that it opposes any kind of current flowing through it.
- However, practically infinite resistance is not possible.
- Hence, resistance of voltmeter should be as high as possible to avoid any error in current of circuit.
