1 coulomb is equal to How many electrons?

Answered by admin @

We know that Coulomb is the SI unit of electric charge. The charge of a single electron is 1.60217733 * 10^{-19} Coulombs. Thus, one coulomb has 6.2415*10^{18} electrons.

1.6* 10^{-19} coulomb = 1e^-

1 coulomb = 1   e^- = 1/1.6*10^{-19}

1 coulomb = 0.625* 10^{19}\ e^-

In one coulomb of negative charge there are 0.625* 10^{19}\ e^-
