Force of attraction in solid liquid and gas

Answered by admin @

The force of attraction between 2 particles or molecules is called interparticular and intermolecular force reslectively.

In case of solids these forces are strong because there's less kinetic energy between the particles.
And in case of Liquids the forces are comapatively weaker than solids because of higher kinetic energy of particles. And hence, they are comparatively more loosely bounded.

In case of gases these forces are the weakest.
and hence they are most loosely bounded physical form of matter.
