Long distance train schedule to reach destination 19 hours after 10 hours of journey due to the distribution of rail traffic the train has been station for 1 hour if the average speed of a train is 100 km per hour at what speed should i travel to cover the same amount of time

According to the given information

Total journey time = 19 hours

The train has completed a 10 hour journey.

The average speed of train is 100km/hr.

So the total distance in 19 hours at a speed of 100km/h is = 19 (100) = 1900km

The train has moved for 10 hours.

So it has completed a disatnce in 10 hours = 10(100) = 1,000 km

It had to wait due to the distribution of rail traffic.

So the train completed the distance of 1,000km in 11 hours.

NOW

remaining distance = 1900 - 1000 = 900 km

remaining times = 19 hours - 11 hours = 8 hours

New Average Speed = Distance / Time

                                    = 900 / 8  = 112.5 km/h

So the train had to move with a speed of 112.5 km/h to complete the journey in the same time (to cover the delay).
