We can get the area of the shaded part by using the formula;
Area = θ/360 πr²
Where θ ⇒ subtended angle
π = 3.142
r ⇒ radius
First 1.25 radians in to degrees.
π radians= 180°
1.25 radians = (180×1.25)/π
= 71.62°
The angle on the shaded part is 360 - 71.62 = 288.38°
Area = (288.38/360)×π×8²
= 0.8 ×3.142 × 64
= 161.06
