PLEASE HELP!!! 1.What is an example of a composite figure in your home and community? 2.How would you decompose it and find the area? 3. Can you think of another reason that it would be helpful to decompose these figures in addition and making it easier to find the are of the figure?

Answer: An example of the a composite figure would be the floor plan of your house.

The floor plan of your house is one big shape. However, it is made up of many smaller shapes. For example, your room may be a square. The kitchen may be a rectangle. The hallway could be a longer thinner rectangle. You could have rooms in the shapes of trapezoids, triangles, etc.

Take any three non-collinear points a b c and draw triangle a,b,c. through each vertex of the triangle draw a line parallel to the opposite side using ruler and compass
