Yes there are other terms that need to be
defined first.
We need the following terms:
A) Point
b) line. c) Plane d) Ray e) angle. f) Circle
g) quadrilateral
1. Point is that point which has
no part i.e, a point is an exact location.
2. A line is a Breadth less length.
Lines can be extended on both directions.
3. A plane surface is a surface
which lies evenly with the straight lines on itself.
4. A part of a LINE which has only
one endpoint is called a ray.
5. An angle is the figure formed
by two rays with common initial point.
6. A circle is the set of all
those points In a plane whose distance from a fixed point remains constant. The
fixed point is called the centre of the circle.
7. A simple closed figure made of
4 line segment is called a quadrilateral.
=========================================================
Parallel lines:
Two lines in a plane are said to be
parallel if they have no common. Parallel Lines do not intersect each other.
The distance between two Parallel Lines always remains the same.
Perpendicular lines:
Two lines in a plane are said to be perpendicular
if they intersect each other at 1 right angle.
Line segment:
The Definite length between two points is
called the line segment. A line segment has two endpoints.
Radius of a circle:
The distance from the centre to a point on
the circle is called the radius of a circle.
Square:
A quadrilateral in which all four angles
are right angles and four sides are equal is called a square.
