A card from a pack of 52 cards is lost. From the remaining cards of the pack, two cards are drawn and are found to be both spade. Find the probability of the lost card being a spade.

c. 11/50

Hey mate here is your answer...

Total cards = 52

Total no. of Spade cards = 13

Given that two cards are drawn randomly and that was Spade cards.

Total no. of cards = 52 -2

= 50.

Total no. of Spade cards = 13 -2

= 11.

Therefore, the probability of the lost card being a Spade = 11/50
