There are two fathers and two sons. They walk into a candy store and each buys a candy bar for 1 rupee. The total for all of the candy bars was 3 Rs/-. How is that possible?

They were like

Grand Father , Father , Son

Here Father is Father for Son & Son for Grand Father

Grandfather is Father for Father of Son

Hence

Father Son

1 Grand Father Father

2 Father Son

Here Father of Son is common in both pairs

Hence total 3 people

Hence each buys a candy bar for 1 rupee. and total for all the candy bar was Rs 3
