The essayist here delightfully portrays how a lion got away from a zoo, how the bits of gossip spread out lastly how the lion was caught while lying with Mr. Sheep, a religious errand person. What truly happened is kept strange all through the portrayal.

Bostock and Wombwell is a voyaging organization known for its wild-monster appear. When it went to the author's town lying tough. It had a ton of wagons, horsemen and assortment of creatures from Africa, South America, Asia and the Poles, especially a wild lion, called as Conqueror. It was a blanketed night and the snowfall was substantial. All of a sudden the ponies conveying the lion's pen slipped to their knees. The pen got smashed and the Conqueror got away into the murkiness. Being accounted for, the examiner, sergeant, two constables hurried with dozen locals looking for the lion. It progressed toward becoming midnight however the lion couldn't be found.
