Technological convergence is a phenomenon that has been with us for quite some period now, especially with the increased technological innovations.

Technical convergence refers to the and can be best described as the combination of two or more technological systems or devices into one device.

1) Smartphones - smartphones have many devices incorporated in them which may include mobile phone, camera, torch, computer and radio among many others.

2) Smart Tv - these latest TVs have combined devices such as television, computer and video games.

3) A converged mechanical tool - this is a tool that has many tools in it, such as as bottle opener, pliers, screw driver and so on.

4) Digital cameras that can take photos, shoot videos, access the internet and store media.

5) Modems - that can store information just as flash disks and also provide internet connection.
