Exothermic Reaction :-
It is the reaction in which ,energy is released into the surroundings .
The energy released is in the form of light , heat or sound.
The energy is released from the system to the environment
Examples :-
<> Rusting of iron
<> Nuclear fission
Endothermic reaction:-
It is the reaction in which ,energy is absorbed from the surroundings .
The energy is absorbed in the form of heat
Energy is absorbed from the surroundings into the system.
Examples:-
<>Melting of ice
<> Cooking of food
