Explanation:

Molecular models are representations of a molecule. A molecule may contain polar bonds but may not have an overall dipole moment as a result of its structure.

Hence, the possession of polar bonds alone is insufficient to determine a polar molecule. The molecular model gives a picture of the molecule and ultimately determines weather the molecule will possess a resultant dipole moment and be regarded as polar or non polar.

For instance, CO2 contains polar bonds but is nonpolar because it does not have an overall (resultant) dipole moment.
