Explanation;

-Genetic recombination is the production of offspring which possess combinations of traits that differ from those found in either of the parents.

It occurs when genetic material is exchanged between two different chromosomes or between different regions within the same chromosome. This is seen in during cross over, fertilization and also the independent assortment of genes.
