What would happen if photosynthesis on earth stopped? all plants and animals would die due to the absence of oxygen and carbohydrates (glucose) for respiration. all plants would die as they wouldn't be able to produce carbohydrates, while animals would survive because they don't carry out photosynthesis. all plants and animals would survive as they can carry out respiration, despite the absence of photosynthesis.

All plants and Animals would die. If all the plants die, what will all the Herbivores eat? Nothing, they would all die. And without anything for the Carnivores to eat they would die off to. As there is no plants suck as trees we the human race would also die off do to lack of oxygen in the air for us to breathe. If this occurred life on earth as we know it.
