posterior (dorsal) root ganglion, posterior (dorsal) root, posterior gray horn, white column, and spinal nerve
Numbering 1–4, indicate the order of structures through which motor impulses pass as they descend from the brain and leave the spinal cord.
spinal nerve, white column, anterior (ventral) gray horn, and anterior (ventral) root

1. A spinal nerve splits into dorsal and ventral roots as it enters into the spinal cord. And a branch gets turned into the posterior (dorsal) column of the white matter  and create a connect with the brain. Thus, the order of structures through which sensory impulses pass as they enter the spinal cord and travel toward the brain includes the following –

1- Spinal nerve

2- Posterior (dorsal) root

3-posterior (dorsal) root ganglion

4-posterior gray horn

5-white column

2. The order of structures through which motor impulses pass as they descend from the brain and leave the spinal cord.

1- white column

2-anterior(ventral) gray

3- horn anterior (ventral) root

4-spinal nerve
