(a) In molecular biology,vactors are basically DNA molecules that are used as vehicles that are capable of carrying the foreign genetic material by artificial means into another cell or organism , in which it is expressed or replicated .a vector which contains the foreign DNA that is to be carried is called rDNA .
ex: plasmids, cosmids.
